Noomii Privacy Policy Effective November 16, 2015

Noomii’s Privacy Policy

Noomii.com (www.noomii.com or orgs.noomii.com or “Noomii” or the “Website” or the “Site”) is a directory of professional life, career, and business coaches (hereinafter referred to as a Coach or Coaches), owned and operated by PairCoach Enterprises Inc. As a Coach, Noomii helps you build your coaching business and get new clients. As an individual or potential coaching client, Noomii helps you find a coach based on your goals and needs. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) is designed to help you understand how we collect and use personal information, and how we handle privacy issues.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time without notice, so please review it frequently. The date at the top of this page indicates when this Policy was last revised. This Policy applies to all information that we have about you, and to your account with us.

If we decide to change this Policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

If we make material changes to this Policy, we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a prominent notice when you log into the Site prior to the change becoming effective.

The Information We Collect

When you visit Noomii, you provide us with two types of information: A) personal information (such as your name and email address) that you have voluntarily disclosed to us, and B) non-personally identifiable information that is generated when you interact with the Website.

A) Personal Information

When you register with Noomii as a Coach, you provide us with your name, e-mail address, phone number, location (city, state, province), and other details about your coaching credentials and services. This information is collected for the purpose of being publicly displayed on the website for prospective coaching clients to see. We also collect credit card information if you subscribe to a paid plan. Apart for your email address and credit card information, all of the information that you voluntarily submit to the website may be publicly displayed.

We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications regarding new services offered by Noomii that we think you may find valuable. We will send you our newsletter if you opt to receive this communication from Noomii. If you wish to unsubscribe from promotional emails including newsletters, you may do so by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each promotional email.

Noomii may send you service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the service. For instance, if a prospective client sends you a consultation request, you will receive an email alerting you to that fact. Generally, you may opt out of such emails which are not promotional in nature by editing your notifications settings, though Noomii reserves the right to send you notices about your account even if you opt out of all voluntary e-mail notifications.

When you use Noomii as a potential coaching client, you may request a consultation directly from one of the coaches listed in our directory, or participate in our Referral Program. If you request a consultation, we will ask for your name and email address to automatically send a one-time email to the coach on your behalf. We do not send you other emails unless you expressly agree to receive more information from Noomii. If you participate in the Noomii Referral Program (i.e. get a coach recommendation), we ask for your name, email address, phone number (optional), location, your goal for hiring a coach, and any additional details that pertain to your request for a coach. By default, we will publish your request (not including personally identifiable details) as a means for communicating to Coaches the value of our service and upon request, we can unpublish it. After submitting your referral request, we contact you to collect more information about your coaching needs, send you up to five recommended coaches, and periodically follow-up with you to ensure that we have delivered a high quality service. In all cases, Noomii stores personal information to track the success of our services.

Testimonials

From time to time, we post testimonials on our Website. We receive permission to post testimonials that include personally identifiable information prior to posting. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at privacy@noomii.com.

Surveys or Contests

From time to time, we may provide you the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys on our Website. If you participate, we may request certain personally identifiable information from you. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code).

We use this information to notify contest winners and award prizes, to monitor site traffic or personalize the Website.

Service Providers

We use third parties to provide various services on our behalf such as an email service provider and credit card processor. When you sign up to receive our newsletter we will share your email address with our email service provider. When you subscribe to a paid membership on the site, we use a credit card processor to store your credit card details in a secure location and to charge your credit card when payments are due.

Third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose including their own marketing. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us.

If Noomii is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Website of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

Legal Disclaimer

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Website.

We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

B) Tracking Technologies

As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

We may combine this automatically collected log information with other information we collect about you. We do this to improve services we offer you, to improve marketing, analytics, or site functionality.

Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by Noomii and our analytics, affiliate, or email partners. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.

We use cookies to remember users’ settings (e.g. language preference) and for authentication. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some features or areas of our site may be limited.

Third parties with whom we partner to provide certain features on our site or to display advertising based upon your Web browsing activity use LSOs such as HTML 5 to collect and store information.

Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5 LSOs.

Third Party Advertising

Ads appearing on this Website may be delivered to users by Noomii or one of our Web advertising partners. Our Web advertising partners may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. In this way, ad servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. This information allows an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Policy covers the use of cookies by Noomii only and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers. We have no access or control of these third party cookies.

Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)

Our third party advertising partner employs a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a users computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customers personally identifiable information.
